The Anti-Syphon Valve is used on above ground storage tanks to prevent spillage and to avoid other potential hazards. In the event a syphon occurs due to a rupture in the product pipe line, the valve will automatically stop the product flow. The valve is a normally closed check valve and will resist hydrostatic head pressure and prevent syphoning. The anti-syphon valve features a rust resistant epoxy coated cast-iron body, precision machined bronze seat and is available with a pressure relief valve to relieve thermal expansion.
Specify Spring Rating when ordering, 0-5ft, 6-10ft, 11-15ft head.

Shipman King can supply a range of different gauges for various applications. The AMB818 gauge mounts on top of the tank and is activated by a float connected to a cable. Readout is on a 12 hour clock face. Using the AMB818 clock face the AMB918 also has a built in high level warning alarm. It contains a battery powered, intrinsically safe, alarm unit that is mounted remote from gauge. The alarm is set for desired level during installation and can be reset at any time for a change in alarm level requirements. These are just two types of gauges that can be supplied.

Emergency vent (pressure relief only) used on aboveground storage tanks, as a code requirement that helps prevent the tanks from becoming over pressurized and rupturing if exposed to fire.
The emergency vent consists of a body and cover that moves up and down on a centre pin. Pressure inside the tank forces the cover to lift up off the vent seat, allowing air to exhaust. The centre pin guides the movement. When pressure falls the cover lowers back down onto the seat and the vent is automatically reset.
