Stage II Vapour Recovery Equipment is currently being developed to meet Australian Standards
and will be released when available.

The Environmental Age is upon us, and with it a host of problems for those concerned with the marketing of petroleum products.
Not the least of these problems is the control and recovery of hydrocarbon vapours emitted during the filling of service station storage tanks.

 Vapour recovery is the process whereby these vapours are recovered during the discharge of the product from the tanker at the service
station. This closed system prevents the loss of valuable product, as the vapours are later reclaimed, and in addition safeguards our
environment.

Shipman King with its 80 years of experience in the petroleum industry, has engineered a range of fittings to suit Australian conditions in accordance with AIP CP6. This versatile range enables existing & new installations of various configurations, to be economically converted to vapour recovery.

The Assembly is designed to be fitted into a 50mm, 65mm, 75mm, or 100mm vent socket
and incorporates two side ports that can be used for venting, vapour recovery line or for
manifolding between tanks with a vertical port for access to float tube. The Assembly
has cost advantages with the elimination of reducing bushes, tees or crosses and importantly
has the vent line connection as close as possible to the tank and its previous height.
There is reduction in the number of potential leaking points and a saving in labour costs.
